Yeah you cod be right. I'm slightly more confident though now we are at the OS. First season there may have a tad more pulling power than the Boleyn.

Fair points, but IMO when a player like Payet lights up a tournnament and is available, for the right price, I think clubs ike Barca and Madrid see it as their natural calling to go and get him. Would be amazed now if he stays and isn't at least playing in the UCL next term.

I was thinking the same but if Barca keep Messi, Neymar and Suarez where would Payet fit in? Same with Madrid and Bale and Ronaldo. Depends what he wants, big fish in little pond or little fish in big pond. I am hopeful he will stay albeit not confident!!

France took Iceland seriously last night and put them to bed early, unlike England who thought it would be a walk in the park. Still not convinced about them defensively though so should be an interesting game against Germany.

Hazard was less than average against Wales, one of the reasons they went out. Payet should be favourite by now

Just a case of how much we can get for Payet now, unfortunately.

Credit were its due to the Icelandic's, never gave up and fought to the end, made England look shit and no one can take that away from them.

Can go home with there heads held high unlike our sorry lot.......

I once scored the consolation goal in a 10-1 defeat.

We won the last minute, and no-one can take that away from us...

Stranded. I lost meself for a minute! Dolly the sheep automatically sprang to mind as another one of gigg's conquests.

Anyway, come back Slaven, all is forgiven.

Exactly. It should have been game over after the early penalty. Part of me is glad we didn't have to play anyone half-decent.

Woy is awful. We have to be able to do better than that surely. How the hell he kept his job after Brazil is beyond me,

Sorry mate, but winning a second half against a team that is already 4-0 up means absolutely nothing.

For me this result emphasises just how bad England were again, 5-2! easy win for France.

wanstead. You've lost me, but I love the sound of it!

I just meant because he'd been going down on his brother's wife.

Those Vikings can leave with their heads held high. To get to France was enough, but they did so much more than just turn up to make up numbers.

French were lethal in front of goal tonight, so the job was done by half time, but fair play to Iceland, they won the second half 2-1.

Relatively quiet game for payet but still scores one, makes one and has an 88% pass completion ratio.

What a great choice Ryan Giggs was to replace Slav. The thick cunt can hardly string a sentence together.

Kante back for the semi final
Gomez is out injured. Germans will have to play a pretend centre forward

I too think Germany are big favourites, Italy were the toughest test they will have In my mind but with the crowd on their side and some luck who knows, but France have not got the best defence.

Grumpster 11:29 Sun Jul 3
Re: France v Iceland
Still fancy Germany, as their defence is pony.

Never known a team have such an easy run to the demo's either, they just love how shit we are.
